Teflon PTFE

It is a fluorinated polymer obtained by polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene. Commonly known under different names: Tarflen, Polyflon. It is semi-crystalline, high-performance thermoplastic, which is one of the most thermally stable plastics. PTFE is highly resistant to almost all known elements and chemicals and solvents. It is characterized by very high electrical insulation and dielectric lowest rate among all plastics. Teflon is not soluble in any solvent at a temperature up to approx. 300 ° C, has the lowest coefficient of friction of the solids.
